We're excited to have you with us on this culinary journey through Central Ohio.
Welcome to Columbus Food Adventures!
We, Bethia Woolf and Andy Dehus, founded Columbus Food Adventures to share the incredible stories behind Columbus’s diverse food scene. From gourmet institutions like The Refectory and Pistacia Vera to hidden gems like taco trucks and mom-and-pop eateries, our city has so much to offer.
Our passion began with websites like tacotruckscolumbus.com, alt.eats.columbus.com, and hungrywoolf.com, where we explored and reviewed local restaurants. In 2010, we launched Columbus Food Adventures, starting with three tours inspired by our discoveries. Today, we offer 11 unique tour experiences, foodie scavenger hunts, and custom tours.
Whether you’re a lifelong Columbus resident or a visitor eager to taste the best the city has to offer, we hope our tours inspire you to appreciate the richness and diversity of our local food scene as much as we do.
Warm regards,
Bethia Woolf and Andy Dehus

Frequently Asked Questions
Our tours are designed for an adult audience and some tours are for those aged 21+. We cannot accommodate young children on the van based tours since the van is not equipped to accept children’s car seats but we have had customers who choose to drive themselves and follow the van. The walking tours are approximately three to four hours long. Parents, who know their children best, should assess the situation individually as to whether the tour is appropriate for their child. Please email us if you have questions. Strollers are generally not practical given space constraints in the smaller shops and restaurants.
We can accommodate vegetarians on most itineraries (except for the Taco Truck Tour and Meat Lovers Tours). We are unable to accommodate vegan or celiac guests. Please feel free to email or call us about specific food allergies.
Generally, tours occur regardless of the weather, but we reserve the right to cancel in the event that weather is severe enough to threaten the safety of our participants.
Although it is very rare, we do reserve the right to cancel in cases where minimum enrollment (4 guests) is not met or due to dangerous weather conditions or other adverse circumstances beyond our control. In the case of cancellation, we will reschedule tickets to another date or tour or issue a gift card for the full amount. Otherwise, tours run rain or shine.
We are not able to add additional tickets to the tours. If you would like to be wait listed for a tour date that is sold out please email waitlist@columbusfoodadventures.com.
Gratuities are by no means expected, but always appreciated. Some guides have Venmo QR codes you can scan. We also gratefully accept your feedback on Google, Trip Advisor or your favorite review site.
Because we offer food tours and spend time inside restaurants we are not able to accommodate dogs on the tours.
