Gift Certificate & Gift Card Information

In 2020 we transitioned from selling tour gift certificates to offering gift cards. This new system offers customers greater flexibility in both purchase amount and redemption as the gift cards can be used for any product or service offered by Columbus Food Adventures.

If you have a gift certificate that was purchased prior to October 1st 2020 its purchased dollar value can only be used towards a public tour. We are able to transfer between tours, but we are not able to accept these for other products or services. The Wildcard Gift certificate allows the recipient to choose any of the regular tour itineraries and will apply a $62 discount. Recipients are able to pay the difference for higher priced tours.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have extended all gift certificate expirations until 12/31/2024.*

*please note that this does not include the Dtix discounted ticket program. 

Our new gift cards can be used for food tours, trust fall meals and gift boxes. As you follow the purchase process you will see a list of suggested amounts.

Redemption instructions:

Please note that gift certificates and gift cards are redeemed at different points in the booking process. These instructions explain how each type is redeemed.

• If you have a Columbus Food Adventures gift card (20 random digits)

Choose your tour or item and date from the calendar. Choose your number of guests
Ignore the message that says ‘Add Gift Certificate Redemption Below’.
Add any additional information.
Click ‘Add to cart’
On the left hand side of the check out screen you will see a green bubble that says Secured with 2048-bit encryption. Right above that you will see ‘Apply a gift card’. Click on that link and enter your 20 digit gift card number (with or without the dashes is fine). You will then see the gift card amount deducted from the total.

• If you have a gift certificate purchased prior to October 1st 2020 (code starting with FH)

Choose your tour and date from the calendar. When you have selected the number of guests for the tour you will see a box that says ‘Add Gift Certificate Redemption Below’ click on the ‘add promo or discount code’ and enter your gift certificate code into the box where it says enter it here. Your gift certificate code will start with FH. If you have a gift certificate that was for two people then enter the same code for each person. If you have entered the code correctly you will see a green check mark. If your code isn’t working please follow the link ‘If your code isn’t working, please redeem it here’

• If you have an OSU Dtix voucher (starting with OSU)

Choose your tour and date from the calendar. When you have selected the number of guests for the tour you will see a box that says ‘Add Gift Certificate Redemption Below’ click on the ‘add promo or discount code’ and enter your gift certificate code into the box where it says enter it here. Your code will start with OSU. If you have entered the code correctly you will see a green check mark.
