As Easter Sunday approaches on April 20, 2025 we’ve collected together some offerings from local restaurants, butchers, smokehouses, bakeries and chocolatiers.

Restaurants:

The Refectory Restaurant & Bistro

Renowned for its classic French cuisine, The Refectory is hosting a Four-Course Easter Dinner for $79. Reservations are available between 12:30pm. and 5:00 p.m. on Easter Sunday. Early reservations are recommended. The Refectory is also offering an at home dinner. Ordering ends Tuesday, April 15th (or when sold out)! Scheduled curbside pickup between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm on Saturday, April 19th.

Cameron Mitchell Restaurants

Several establishments under the Cameron Mitchell umbrella are opening for special brunch hours:

The Barn at Rocky Creek features a brunch buffet. Also check out the new brunch menu at SoCal in the Short North. I’ve got my eye on the crispy rockfish and the breakfast club. The full list of CMR easter openings is available here.

Goodale Station

Goodale Station, the rooftop restaurant at the Canopy Hotel on Goodale Boulevard is offering an Easter brunch buffet that even includes valet parking. The buffet is available 10am-3pm and is $65 for adults and $21 for children 12 and under. Reservations are recommended.

Lindey’s Restaurant & Bar

A popular choice for any holiday, Lindey’s is renowned for its elegant ambiance and service. For Easter Sunday, they will host a special brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring dishes such as beignets, eggs Benedict, and steak and eggs. They also have an all day menu from 10am-7pm. Barcelona Restaurant

Situated in the heart of German Village, Barcelona offers a blend of Spanish cuisine with a modern twist. While specific Easter specials have not been announced, the restaurant frequently updates its menu to reflect seasonal offerings. On Sundays Barcelona is open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

 

Meat Purveyors:

Ray Ray’s Hog Pit

For a more casual yet equally festive option, Ray Ray’s Hog Pit is accepting pre-orders for Easter. Their offerings include smoked meats such as lamb, brisket, ribs, and ham. Pre-orders can be placed through their website, with pickups scheduled for Easter Sunday at various locations.

The Hungarian Butcher
In addition to their Smoked Boneless Blackstrap Molasses Hams, the Hungarian Butcher is also offering Lamb and Kielbasa. Visit their website for details and to access the order form.

Simply Balkan Market

Simply Balkan Market brings authentic Balkan flavors to Columbus.  Easter specials include roast lamb, roast pork and easter breads. The market also offers a variety of traditional Balkan goods and freshly made pastries that could complement your Easter celebrations. Bakeries:

Resch’s Bakery

A staple in Columbus for decades, Resch’s Bakery offers a variety of Easter-themed desserts, including traditional lamb cakes and iced chick cookies. They require a 24-hour advance notice for these specialty items, with full payment upon ordering.

Pattycake Bakery

Known for its vegan-friendly offerings, Pattycake Bakery is accepting orders for their popular lamb cakes, carrot cake, sticky buns and other springtime treats. For more details or to place an order, visit their website.

Angies Rainbow Cookies

Angie’s is offering a cute Easter platter and Easter colored rainbow cookies. The platter includes an assortment of Strawberry, Nutella & Raspberry Rainbow Cookies with a handful of their favorite Easter chocolates!

Chocolates:

Winan’s

Winan’s has a great selection of Easter chocolates including chocolate bunnies, eggs, and more. Visit their stores in the Short North, Grandview or the Short North.

Easter in Columbus 2025

Patisserie Lallier 

Michelle from Patisserie Lallier will have chocolates available at the last indoor Grandview Heights Farmers’ Market of the season on Sunday, April 13th from 10am-1pm inside Larson Middle School at 1600 W. First Avenue.

Her online store will open on Wednesday, April 16th, at 5pm to order for delivery on Saturday, April 19th.

 

Events:

Weiland’s Market 

Weiland’s Market is hosting its first annual Bunny Bonanza on Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to Noon. This free, festive morning will be filled with cheerful activities for kids and grown-ups alike—no registration required!

Children can explore the store to find colorful eggs tucked throughout the departments. Don’t forget a basket!

Adults—or adults shopping with a child dressed as a bunny—will receive 10% off their purchase (excluding alcohol and gift cards). Mimosas will be available for purchase in the wine department, and a big, fluffy bunny will be ready to engage with families, who can also take photos in front of the store’s signature bunny window.
